Vol. 230 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Substandard Goods.

4.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that a great amount of substandard goods are sold by some stores under cover of declaring a special sale; and whether any extra protection can be given to members of the public in this regard.

I have received no complaints about this matter. It is comprehended, however, in matters which I have in mind for consideration in connection with the development of a code of protection for consumers.
