asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the month in each of the past few years in which the contract for the sale of tomatoes in the Donegal Gaeltacht was entered into; and why this contract has not been entered into so far this year, thereby causing considerable concern to growers.

At the end of April in 1964 and 1965 and June in 1966. The contract could not be placed until July this year as it was found necessary to seek supplementary information in some instances so as to assess accurately the most favourable eligible tender.
