Vol. 230 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Plywood Factory.

139.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the present position regarding the proposed plywood factory at Limerick city.

I understand that the promoters of the project are anxious that the factory be established as quickly as possible but I am not in a position at this stage to make any further statement.

In view of the fact that this industry was announced over four years ago and in the light of the fact that various statements have been made and various rumours have been circulating, do I take it now that it is definite that this industry will be established and will go into production?

To the best of my knowledge, the industry will be established and will go into production.
