Vol. 230 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Revenue Commissioners' Report on Incomes.

73.

asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the report of the Revenue Commissioners to the effect that in this country 119 people attained an aggregate earned income of £1,720,000, an average of £280 per week; and if he can give the professions or occupations of such persons in this country.

I understand that, in preparing the table from which the figures mentioned in the question were taken, it would not have been feasible, without undue expense, to classify incomes by occupational status and accordingly it is not possible to provide the information sought by the Deputy.
