asked the Minister for Education if he has a proposal for the erection of a new secondary school at Dunboyne, County Meath; and if so, what action has been taken on the matter.

An application for recognition of a new boys' secondary school in Dunboyne has been received by my Department and is under consideration. The necessary investigations and consultations with all the interests concerned are proceeding and a decision in the matter will be made as soon as possible.
