Vol. 231 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - Tralee County Hospital.

136.

asked the Minister for Health the present position in relation to the proposed new county hospital in Tralee, County Kerry.

Negotiations for the acquisition of a site for the proposed new hospital are being completed. A schedule of accommodation has been submitted by the health authority and is under examination in my Department. The Deputy will, of course, appreciate that I shall have to consider the planning of this hospital in the light of the recommendations relating to the hospital system generally which I hope to receive in the New Year from the newly appointed Advisory Body on the General Hospital Services.
