NOTES
(i) The dates on which firm proposals for these pools were received in the Department range from May, 1962 to August, 1967. In some cases the proposals now current are in replacement of previous proposals and it would not be feasible to say when exactly the definitive proposal was received.
(ii) Swimming pool proposals are kept under review in conjunction with the overall capital requirements of local authorities. No indication could be given at this stage when any particular proposal might be sanctioned.
