Vol. 231 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - Wexford Flooding.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are as yet any proposals formulated for the alleviation of periodic flooding at King Street, Wexford.

As I indicated in my reply to the Deputy's question of the 2nd March last, Wexford Corporation have asked their Consultant for a report as to the measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence of flooding in the King Street area. I am informed by the Corporation that they expect to have this report shortly.

Is there an indication as to when approximately we might have it?

I hope to have it within the next week.
