Vol. 231 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - County Sligo Drainage Scheme.

23.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will make money available immediately for the drainage of a stream starting in the townland of Carrowcollar and running through the townlands of Glann, Ballyglass and Leaffony to the Leaffony river in the Dromore West area of County Sligo, as an application for a rural improvement scheme in respect of this work was made to the Special Employments Schemes Office and an inspection was carried out about two years ago.

A rural improvement scheme grant was offered for this work on 13th March, 1967, but was not accepted. It is now late for inclusion in this year's programme of schemes.
