Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - Health Rates.
Particulars of the rate in the £ struck by each council for the years from 1952-53 to 1964-65 inclusive are given in the Returns of Local Taxation for those years; for similar information in relation to 1965-66 and in relation to 1966-67 and 1967-68, I would refer the Deputy to the replies to Question No. 17 of 14th July, 1965, and to Question No. 21 of the 1st June, 1967, respectively. As regards the rate struck for health purposes, I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Question No. 96 of the 20th February, 1963, in respect of the year 1961-62 and earlier years, and to Question No. 13 of the 12th April, 1967, in respect of the years 1962-63 to 1966-67, inclusive. The balance of the information sought is in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
