It is proposed to erect in due course a new Garda station at Wilkinstown, in replacement of the existing station at George's Cross, approximately two miles away.
The Commissioners of Public Works have not yet acquired a site for the new station, and I am not in a position at this stage to say when construction works are likely to commence.
