Vol. 231 No. 11

Ceistenna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway School.

32.

asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the proposed new school at Crumlin, Ballyglunin, County Galway.

Arrangements for the provision of a new school of four classrooms are well advanced: sketch plans have been prepared; agreement has been reached as to local contribution and State grant; and the preparation of working drawings has been put in hands by the Commissioners of Public Works. Some legal delays have arisen in connection with the establishment of title to the site offered by the Manager, but it is expected that clear evidence of title will be available very soon. In that case, tenders for the erection of a new school will be invited early in 1968.
