asked the Minister for Local Government if application has been made for payment of extra money to cover the cost of larger pipe sizes in the Coolnageragh group water scheme, County Kerry so that this scheme may later be integrated in the proposed Castleisland regional supply; and when it is proposed to sanction such an application.

An application has been received from Kerry County Council for this purpose and is being examined. A decision will be conveyed to the council shortly.

May I ask the Minister to have the decision conveved to Kerry County Council as soon as possible?

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ascertain from Kerry County Council when work will start on the proposed Ardfert piped water scheme.

The Ardfert regional water scheme, together with a number of other regional schemes in County Kerry and elsewhere, is included in the review of regional schemes which is at present being carried out by sanitary authorities, generally, throughout the country. A decision in its respect must await the outcome of that review.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the Oola, County Limerick water supply scheme; and when work is likely to commence.

I have fully approved this scheme and I am informed by Limerick County Council that it has been advertised for tender but I could not say at present when work is likely to commence.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects that work will start on the provision of a sewerage scheme at Fenit, Tralee, County Kerry.

A decision on this scheme must await the outcome of the review of water and sewerage schemes in planning, which is at present being carried out by the sanitary authorities generally throughout the country.
