Lands on hands of the Land Commission in the district referred to comprise small residues, totalling 12 acres, of holdings surrendered by way of exchange. Proposals have been formulated for the disposal of these lands in a scheme for the rearrangement of a number of fragmented holdings in the area—and the work will be put in hands as soon as certain technical difficulties relating to the exchanges involved in the rearrangement have been settled.
