Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Driving Tests for Army Personnel.

19.

Mr. Barrett

asked the Minister for Defence if it is a fact that Army drivers who pass Army tests for driving of all types of heavy vehicles are not granted an ordinary driving licence to drive private vehicles unless they undergo the ordinary driving test prescribed by the Department of Local Government.

The answer to the Deputy's question is in the affirmative.
