Vol. 232 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Liffey Bridges.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether any new bridges are planned to span the Liffey in the future; and whether any tests are carried out to gauge the wear and tear on existing bridges.

18.

(Dublin) and Mr. Andrews asked the Minister for Local Government what plans are available for the erection of additional bridges across the Liffey to relieve traffic congestion in Dublin city.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 17 and 18 together.

Perhaps the Deputies would be good enough to repeat the questions in two weeks by which time I would hope to have received from the authorities concerned information in reply to inquiries which I have made.
