asked the Minister for Education if he will list the schools in County Wicklow and County Clare (a) in need of urgent renovation, and (b) in need of replacement.

Included in the lists at (a) and (b) are schools for which arrangements for reconstruction or replacement are in hands and, also, schools which will go out of operation through their being amalgamated in larger school units. There are other schools not mentioned in these lists at which smaller schemes of improvements are being carried out.
