Vol. 233 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Textile School.

4.

asked the Minister for Education if he will consider the establishment of a textile school in Glenties, County Donegal, as it would be most beneficial to the textile industries in the county.

It is the intention that the regional technical colleges will cater specially for local industries in the matter of technical education. The provision of technical education for the textile industry in Donegal will accordingly arise in relation to the regional technical college in Letter-kenny. I cannot, therefore, envisage the establishment of a textile school in Glenties.
