Vol. 233 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Dwellings' Occupancies.

7.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of and give particulars of cases of multiple occupation, that is by more than one person, of single room dwellings in the city of Dublin (a) possessing their own sanitary facilities and (b) without such facilities.

The information requested is not available in my Department.

According to the Census of 1961, there were at that time 4,211 single room dwellings in the city of Dublin inhabited by two or more persons but information as to the number of these dwellings with shared facilities is not available.
