Vol. 233 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Estates.

42.

asked the Minister for Lands why the proceedings with the Land Commission for acquisition of the Stanley Estate, Ballinascarthy, County Cork, have been deferred; and on what date any public hearings will take place.

Proceedings were instituted by the Land Commission some months ago for the acquisition of an area of about 440 acres on this estate and an objection lodged on behalf of the owners is listed for open hearing next month. The objection had in fact been listed for last month but as the owner was out of the country it was adjourned on the application of his solicitor.
