There are 52 exchanges in County Limerick, of which nine are already automatic. Eighteen manual exchanges are scheduled for conversion to automatic working in current programmes which may take up to three years to complete.
The remaining exchanges will be included in follow-up programmes but no forecast can be given at this stage.
