Vol. 233 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Valuation of County Cork Lands

56.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that part of a holding in Macroom, County Cork (details supplied), consisting of fifty-two acres of good grazing land was sold to the forestry section of the Department of Lands; and that subsequently the PLV on the remainder of the holding was reduced by only 7/-; and if he will state the reason for this very small reduction.

The revision of valuations under the Valuation Acts is governed by statutory procedure with which I cannot interfere. Any queries in regard to such revisions should be addressed to the local authority concerned or to the Commissioner of Valuation as may be appropriate.
