Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Health Services.

80.

asked the Minister for Health the total cost of the health services in Dublin in each of the past three years; and the total administrative costs in the same years.

The total net revenue cost of health services administered by Dublin Health Authority towards which grants are payable under the Health Services (Financial Provisions) Act, 1947, was £7,784,500 for 1965-66, £8,701,200 for 1966-67 and £9,668,000 (part estimated) for 1967-68. The amounts included in these figures for administrative costs are estimated at £390,000, £415,000 and £445,000, respectively. The figures for administrative costs are exclusive of any proportion of the costs of the services of medical, nursing or technical staffs whose duties in some cases include administrative functions.
