asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet decided to acquire the estate of David Costine, Shanagarry, Ladys-bridge, County Cork for division amongst those with uneconomic holdings in the area.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of this 38-acre holding but arrangements are being made to have a detailed inspection carried out. The requisition notice under the Land Act, 1965 has recently been served on the owner.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the proceedings for the acquisition by the Land Commission of the McWalter estate, Knock, Miltown, Tuam, County Galway.

The appropriate statutory notices directed towards the acquisition of this 77-acre holding have only just been published and will be served on the owner at an early date.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the acquisition and division of the Butler estate at Cappamore, County Limerick.

Possession of this 73-acre holding has passed to the Land Commission. Arrangements for the formulation of resale plans are in hand and it is expected that the lands will be included in the current year's allotment programme.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will consider the Doneraile estate, County Cork with a view to its acquisition and division among local smallholders.

Proceedings for the acquisition of this extensive property have reached the price stage but as yet I am unable to indicate what the outcome will be.

93.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will consider the 260 acre farm (name supplied) at Bowenscourt, Kildorrery, County Cork with a view to its acquisition and division among the large number of smallholders in the area.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of this property but the Deputy's representations are being brought to the notice of the Land Commission for attention.
