asked the Taoiseach the increase in the population of Dublin city in the past five years.

Data on population changes are available only for the periods between Censuses of Population.

The populations of Dublin County Borough, to which, it is assumed the Deputy is referring, as returned at the 1961 and 1966 Censuses were 537,448 and 568,772, respectively, representing an increase of 31,324 persons or 5.8 per cent over the five-year period.
