Vol. 234 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Factory Inspections.

23.

asked the Minister for Labour if the monthly average number of inspections carried out in the last three months by each factory inspector represents an increase or a decrease on last year's monthly average.

The number of inspections per inspector carried out in the three months February to April, 1968, was lower than last year's average for the reasons that, during the period, visits were concentrated on selected industries where hazards are known to be high and inspections were more detailed.
