Vol. 234 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Corporation Vacant Land.

41.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ascertain from Dublin Corporation the total acreage of vacant land at present in its possession, excluding parks.

In view of the wide scope of the expression "vacant land" it is not possible to comply with such request. If the Deputy has in mind the acreage of land for development for housing purposes, the position is that the corporation has in its possession, or is actively in the course of acquiring, 1,800 acres approximately for housing development.

Is that land serviced?

Not it all.

How much of it?

That is a separate question.

None of it.
