Vol. 234 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase of Roscommon Farm.

28.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that persons (names supplied) have purchased a small farm in County Roscommon, which is adjoining a lime stone industry employing 28 people; and if he will sanction the purchase by the lime stone company in question of these lands in order that they may expand their industry.

Proceedings were instituted some months ago for the acquisition of the holding referred to in the question, which comprises 33 acres. I understand that the owner is now seeking the consent of the Land Commission to the sale of the lands to a lime stone company and this request is being examined.
