Vol. 235 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Level Crossing.

4.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if a decision has yet been reached on the application of CIE for permission to provide an automatically operated level crossing at Sydney Parade, Dublin.

No decision has been reached on the application from CIE for an order under section 9 of the Transport Act, 1958, to enable the Board to install remotely controlled barriers at Sydney Parade level crossing instead of the existing gates because CIE have requested that the application be left in abeyance for the present.
