Vol. 235 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Citizens in France.

8.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he is aware that many citizens of the Republic are gravely concerned for the safety of their relatives who are resident in France in the present period of unrest there; what steps he proposes to take to safeguard the lives and property of these people; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The answer to the first part of the Deputy's question is that there is no evidence at present of serious danger to the lives or property of Irish citizens in France.
