Vol. 235 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry School.

31.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new national school at Kilgarvan, County Kerry; and what plans he has for the amalgamation of schools and the provision of public transport for school children in the Kilgarvan district.

The Reverend Manager has offered a site for a new central school at Kilgarvan to accommodate all the primary school pupils of the parish. The Commissioners of Public Works have been requested to inspect this site at an early date and report on its suitability. Transport to the Kilgarvan school will be provided for the pupils from the outlying school districts following the closing of their schools.
