Galway County Council has been notified of my approval of the plans and specification, prepared by the council's architect, for erection of a new dispensary and medical officer's residence, also a nurse's residence and hospital unit at Kilronan, Aran Islands. An advertisement inviting tenders for the carrying out of the work appears in the public press to-day.
Assuming that tendering response is favourable and that no unforeseen difficulties arise it should be possible to have work commenced in a few months.
