Vol. 235 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Planning Applications.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government the total number of applications for planning permission to erect buildings of (a) less than five storeys and (b) five storeys or over stating the number of storeys, which have been granted for sites in the city of Dublin since 1961.

This information is not available in my Department.

Further to the Minister's reply, may I ask——

(Interruptions.)

Why is the Minister not answering?

I thought it was the usual nonsense.

It is like Ronnie Delany.

Will Deputies please allow questions to proceed?

May I ask a supplementary question?

Why is the information not available in the Minister's Department?

It just is not: I do not have this information.

He is not interested in why it is not there.

There is no particular reason why I should.

The Minister is always ignorant.
