Vol. 235 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Company Legislation.

36.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will introduce legislation to provide that a director of a company shall be entitled to attend and speak at any general meeting or at any separate meeting of the holders of any class of shares of a company in which a share qualification for a director is not necessary.

I do not propose to introduce legislation for this purpose. If, however, the Deputy will supply me with details of the particular problem he has in mind, I will note it for consideration when company law is next being revised.
