Vol. 235 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Staff of Companies Office.

37.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will allocate additional staff to the Companies Office to expedite the working of that office in which the public are experiencing growing delays.

I have had no previous reports of delays on the part of the Companies Registration Office. I am aware of the increasing volume of work arising there. In the course of the past three years additional staff has been provided to deal with the extra work and the staffing requirements of the Office are being kept under constant review.
