Vol. 235 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killybegs (Donegal) Slipway.

25.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries why seine net fishing boats cannot be hauled up or dry docked on the new slipway at Killybegs, County Donegal; if he is aware that three such boats had recently to be dry docked in Derry; and, if so, what steps will be taken to improve the position at Killybegs.

The new slipway to which the Deputy refers is at present under construction and is expected to be completed in about three weeks time. It will then be capable of accommodating even the largest fishing vessel in the Killybegs fleet.
