I am so aware and, as indicated in my reply to recent questions on this subject, development of local airfields is a matter for local commercial enterprise. Technical advice and guidance is available in my Department to any local promoter prepared to establish or develop an airstrip, and, subject to certain safeguards, some financial assistance could also be made available.
