Vol. 235 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Foot and Mouth Restrictions.

13.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if any compensation was paid to people from this country who visited England during the foot and mouth outbreak and who on their return to this country were precluded from returning to their own homes and employment for 21 days; and, if so, if he will state the full amount of such payment.

The answer to the first part of the question is "no". The second part of the question does not therefore arise.
