There are 31 post-primary schools recognised by my Department in the Gaeltacht. There are no statistics available in my Department relative to the second part of the Deputy's question. However, school transport is organised on the basis that, as far as practicable, Gaeltacht children are brought to post-primary schools within the Gaeltacht.
