Vol. 236 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal River Flooding.

50.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the fact that a considerable area of arable land is being rendered useless by the flooding of the Glena river at Gortahork, County Donegal; and, if so, if he will make a grant available for the drainage of this river.

The Commissioners of Public Works have no proposal for works on this river; there is no fund available from which a grant for drainage work could be made.
