The development of year-round tourism was the theme of this year's Bord Fáilte Marketing conference which has just ended.
The conclusions reached and the recommendations made at the conference and, subsequently, discussed generally with representatives of the tourism industry, are now being studied by Bord Fáilte. Implementation is a matter for Bord Fáilte who will communicate with all other parties that may be involved. Any steps involving Government investment will be considered by my Department as and when they arise.
