Vol. 236 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Demolition of Houses.

10.

asked the Minister for Local Government if there are any figures available of the number of habitable houses which will be demolished on the implementation of the new scheme of arterial roads in Dublin; if any consultation with householders is contemplated; and what compensation will be offered.

I take it the Deputy is referring to a proposal for an inner tangent ring road recently approved by a committee of Dublin Corporation. No such proposal has been submitted to me and I cannot, therefore, answer detailed questions about it. I understand, in fact, that the proposal put to the committee of the corporation is not in sufficient detail to yield the information primarily sought by the Deputy.
