asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of Counties Meath, Louth and Dublin for 1966-67, 1967-68 and 1968-69 the capital allocations in each case, for (a) local authority houses, (b) private housing, (c) public water supplies, (d) public sewers, (e) roads and (f) other services.

The information requested is as follows:—

Due to the flexibility permitted in the use of balances on accounts and increases made in the amounts of allocations to local authorities during these financial years the figures in columns 2 and 3 above indicate the actual expenditure on house purchase and reconstruction loans and supplementary housing grants in 1966-67 and 1967-68 while column 4 indicates the expenditure permissible in 1968-69 taking credit balances into account. Details of total capital expenditure by these local authorities on the provision of sites for private development are not available.
