There are 52 telephone exchanges in County Limerick, nine of which with 4,850 lines are already automatic. Of the remaining 43 exchanges comprising 1,900 lines, 18 are due for conversion to automatic working by 1971 and the rest will be converted as soon as possible thereafter.
