It is not clear what precise information is required by the Deputy. However, up to 31st March, 1968, the number of applications received by the county council for grants for essential repairs to houses in County Leitrim was 1,641 and in County Roscommon 1,140. The total numbers paid in the same period were 616, and 404 respectively. It is not possible to give statistics of the numbers of applications still under consideration by the Department or the county councils.
