asked the Minister for Finance the number of national schools in County Limerick to be repaired or replaced; and the estimated cost.

At present, seven new schools are being built in County Limerick and three major improvement and extension schemes are in progress. Plans are at varying stages of development to replace 30 schools and to improve or enlarge 15 others. The total cost of all these jobs is estimated at £850,000.

asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of money spent under all headings since 1960 on national school buildings in County Limerick.

Expenditure out of the Vote for Public Works and Buildings on national school buildings in County Limerick from 1st April, 1960, to 30th June, 1968, amounted to approximately £1,580,000.
