The inspector of accidents appointed to investigate the accident has not yet completed his investigations which have been hampered because some vital parts of the aircraft and its equipment have not been recovered. Search and recovery operations have only recently been concluded. No avoidable delay will occur in completing the investigation and publishing the inspector's findings. It is not likely, however, that the inspector's report will be available for some considerable time.
