I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take Questions 37-42 together and, as the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, to have it circulated with the Official Report. Following is the statement:

There are 5,437 families on the Dublin Corporation's approved waiting list (as revised December, 1967) comprising the following categories:—

Families of 1 person

It is understood from Dublin Corporation that they are at present preparing a new waiting list, having regard to the Scheme of Letting Priorities adopted by them under the Housing Act, 1966, but that this list will not be completed for some time.

Could the Minister give us some details of the number of families of seven on the Dublin Corporation housing list?

They are in the reply.

Could I hear it?

I am circulating it in the tabular statement.

Having looked at the figures; is the Minister satisfied it is a satisfactory state of affairs?

I do not think seven was asked for. I was asked for six and over.

Question No. 38, to the Minister.

The Minister is not doing his home work. He is too upset to do anything.

I have only the figures of six persons and over.

The Minister could produce the answer to a question.

Could the Minister read out the answer?

If the Chair directs me I will read it out.

Question No. 43.

If it was favourable the Minister would read it out even if it took half an hour. He spoke for seven hours and 55 minutes.
