Vol. 236 No. 11

Business of Dáil.

I understand it has now been decided to revert to the proposal we on this side made to devote three days next week to the votes of no confidence in the Government—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

That is correct.

That suits us. It is all we asked for originally. It is the arrangement we have been told of. It has been published. I take it that the arrangement that nobody shall speak for more than 45 minutes will also be adhered to. If we cannot say in 45 minutes what we have to say we should not be saying it at all.

The Deputy should have shut up long ago.

Unfortunately, I did not hear what Old Mischief said.

Deputy Sweetman should have a confab with Deputy Oliver Flanagan to get him to keep to the time.

I hope the Minister for Local Government does not again proceed to waste the time of the House——

He should withdraw some of the offensive remarks he made last night.

The Minister for Local Government?

Will he withdraw them?

The Minister for Local Government was the only one called on by the Chair to withdraw.
