asked the Minister for Local Government the total amount collected from motor vehicle duties (a) in 1966-67, (b) in 1967-68 and (c) at the latest available date for 1968-69.

The total amounts of motor vehicle duties, including driving licence duties, and fees and fines under the Roads Act, 1920 and the Road Traffic Act, 1961, collected and lodged to the Exchequer during the periods were:—
